Open Routes is a professional counseling practice, designed to meet the unique needs of each client. Both in-office and telehealth services are available for Montanans. Counseling will require both time and effort, and it is, therefore, essential you can give yourself the space to move through this process. Together we explore your goals to help you create the relationships you want. There will be an examination of your current and past relationships to help identify patterns and build a curious inquiry of your life.

Individual 

Open Routes Counseling works with individual adults (18 and up) on personal goals. Individual identity is explored within the context of family history, culture, religion, influential relationships, and environmental aspects to create a broader understanding of one’s values, beliefs, emotions, and thoughts.

Group 

Open Routes offers group therapy or specific workshops for interested participants. Some of the past events and groups include:

Couples 

Open Routes Counselors help both new and established couples find each other and discover new ways of functioning within their relationship. Open Routes Counseling draws on the Psychological Approach to Couples Therapy(PACT) framework, along with Bowen Family Systems approach to create a secure relationship that is mutually beneficial for both partners. 

Family 

Open Routes Counseling works with families to support strong relationship development and navigate through mental health challenges. Family work may include the whole family or specific individuals within the family. A plan will be made to help support the needs of the family during the first session. 

Fees & Insurance 

Open Routes Counseling offers a sliding fee for clients. All clients will be offered a Good Faith Estimate of the services and charges. An initial 20-30-minute consultation is always free to consider availability and appropriate fit according to needs. Rates and length of sessions depend on needs and type of counseling.
